“The clarsach reaches the spaces other harps cannot reach!”
Being small and versatile it will easily fit into venues considered too small for the pedal harp, allowing you to enjoy beautiful music without compromising your wedding space. It’s tones can provide a tranquil background as your guests arrive, an interlude during the ceremony and a lively accompaniment to some post ceremony drinks – all in the same perfectly formed package!
Elinor understands that every wedding is special and each couple will have a different view on how to achieve a unique event. She will always be happy to chat to you about your particular requests or answer any questions you may have. She will make every effort to accommodate any special musical requests, adapting them for the Scottish harp as required!

“5 ⭐ ! Elinor played her clarsach at our small intimate wedding in December. Perfect music for opulent surroundings and lovely to hear our favourite songs played on such an instrument – really added that extra special touch to our day. Something for all the guests to appreciate, given such skills are a bit of a rarity now! You should have ratings for your page, as I’m sure it’d be unanimously 5 Star! Thank you Elinor.” Kim & Euart MacKerron, December 2017
“Thanks so much for playing at our wedding – what you did was absolutely perfect!” Sarah Scott, January 2017.

“Elinor played for our wedding at the small chapel in Edinburgh Castle, and took great trouble to ensure it was just what we wanted. She was enthusiastic, flexible and kept a great secret when my husband requested a special piece during the signing of the register. The clarsach makes a beautiful sound in the chapel and it rounded a perfect wedding ceremony.” Carole Johnson, December 2015
“Thank you so much for playing so beautifully at Danielle and Paul’s wedding!” Pauline Pearson, July 2016
“Your lovely playing added greatly to a very enjoyable day” Sheila Boyes, June 2014.
